Quiz Time with Bajju: Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 October 2026

← Quiz Time with Bajju

This policy covers the Quiz Time with Bajju app (“Quiz Time”, “the app”) for iOS and Android, published by Kingsbridge Consultancy LLC (“we”, “us”). In short: no ads, no tracking, and nothing that identifies you. Signing in is optional and only used for cloud backup (section 6).

1. What we do not collect

2. What stays on your device

Your language, sound, vibration and reminder settings, the quizzes you have played and your scores, a quiz you have left part-way, where you placed Bajju, and copies of the quizzes and illustrations you have opened (so they work offline) are stored on your device, and in your phone's own backup (section 6). Deleting the app deletes them from the device.

3. The leaderboard

When you first finish a quiz or set a display name, the app asks our server for a random id and a random secret that it uses to sign its requests. These are not linked to you, your device or any account. With that id our server stores:

Your display name, score, time and rank are shown to other players on the leaderboard. Display names pass through a word filter, and we can remove a name or block it from use. To tell us about a name, use Report this name on the leaderboard or email support@kingsbridge-consultancy.com. A report stores the name and your random id so we can review it, and we delete it once we decide. Hide this player works only on your own device and sends us nothing.

Like any web server, ours (run on Cloudflare) sees your IP address when the app connects. We do not store it; it is used only briefly to limit abuse, such as too many sign-ups from one address.

4. Anonymous usage statistics

To make the app better, it sends one small daily summary under a separate random id: the app version, platform and language, whether sound, vibration, the reminder and a display name are on, and counts such as how often the app was opened, quizzes started and finished, answers and right answers, replays, shares, taps on the episode, podcast and social links, and crashes. It contains no names and nothing you typed.

5. Notifications

The new-quiz reminder is scheduled on your device. We do not use a push-notification service and hold no notification tokens. You can turn the reminder off in the app's More screen or in your device settings.

6. Backups

Your progress, settings, display name and leaderboard id are part of your phone's own backup: your Google account on Android, iCloud on iPhone. Google and Apple handle those backups under their own privacy policies; we never see them. They bring your progress back when you set up a new phone.

Cloud backup (optional). If you sign in (More → Cloud Backup) with Google on Android or Apple on iPhone, the app gets a sign-in token from Google or Apple, and our server checks it and keeps only the account's id from Google or Apple: not your email address or your name. That id is linked to your leaderboard id, and your backup (your progress, settings and display name, without the leaderboard secret) is stored on our server under it, so you can restore it on another phone after signing in. The app backs up automatically now and then while you are signed in, and when you tap “Back up now”. If you sign in on a second phone with the same account, both phones share one place on the leaderboard: scores from the second phone for quizzes the account hasn't played move to it, and the second phone's own leaderboard id is deleted. The name or email shown on the Cloud Backup card comes from Google's or Apple's sign-in screen and stays on your phone.

You can also save a backup file (More → Local Backup) and open it on another phone, Android or iPhone. It contains your progress and your leaderboard id and its secret, so anyone with the file could play as you on the leaderboard: keep it somewhere private. The app never uploads it; where it goes is up to you.

7. Feedback and seva

“Send feedback” opens a Google Form, pre-filled with the app version, your device model, its operating system version and the app's language, so we can look into problems. Nothing is sent until you submit the form, and you can change or remove any of it first. Your message and those details reach us through Google Forms.

“Offer seva” is entirely voluntary. On Android it opens your UPI app with an amount filled in; the payment is handled by your UPI app and bank, and we receive only what any UPI payee receives. On iPhone it opens our website.

8. Your choices and deleting your data

Leaderboard records, cloud backups and usage summaries are kept until you delete them as above, or until we retire the app.

9. Children

Quiz Time is a general-audience app. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children: no contact details, an account is optional and keeps no email or name, and a display name is optional.

10. Sharing

We do not sell or share data with anyone. Our server and database run on Cloudflare, which processes them on our behalf; feedback arrives through Google Forms. If you sign in, Google or Apple handles the sign-in under its own privacy policy. When you tap a link to YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Instagram, X or an app store, that service's own privacy policy applies.

11. Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date at the top.
