Ram Koti
Writing practice — likhita japa — with on-device handwriting recognition.
How do I change the text size or language?
Open the More tab. You can adjust text size and switch among nine languages at any time.
Is my writing private?
Yes. Your handwriting and counts stay on your device, and recognition runs entirely on-device. See our Privacy Policy.
What is the leaderboard, and is it required?
It's optional and off by default. If you opt in, it uses only a display name you choose, and you can leave at any time.
How do I export my writing?
Your handwriting is saved as a Book, which you can print or export as a PDF from inside the app.
Where do I find the app version?
At the bottom of the More tab.
Naam Jaap
Chanting practice, counted by voice.
Why does it need the microphone?
To hear your chanting and count your repetitions. Recognition runs on-device — your audio is never recorded, stored, or sent to us or to any server.
It isn't counting, or it's counting twice.
Background noise and speaking pace both affect recognition. Try a quieter room and a steady rhythm. If it still misbehaves, email us with your device model and what you were chanting, and we'll take a look.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Counting is entirely on-device.
Sandy
Golf scorecard, GPS yardages and course flyovers.
Do I need an account?
No. You can keep score, use GPS yardages and view flyovers without signing in — your rounds are stored on your device. An account is only needed for the Clubhouse, where you can follow other golfers and share finished rounds.
My course isn't listed, or its holes are missing.
Sandy draws course maps from OpenStreetMap, which is maintained by volunteers, so coverage varies by country. If your course has no holes traced, we can't show yardages or a flyover for it. Anyone can add a course to OpenStreetMap, and Sandy picks up new mapping automatically. Email us if a course looks wrong and we'll check whether it's a mapping gap or a bug at our end.
Why is the distance different from my rangefinder?
Sandy measures to the centre of the green using your phone's GPS, which is typically accurate to a few metres. Treat it as a good reference rather than a laser reading.
Does Sandy track my location in the background?
No — only while the app is open, and only to find courses near you and measure your distance to the pin. Your position is used on your device and is not stored on our servers. Sandy works without location permission; you search for your course by name instead.
How do I add the golfers I'm playing with?
When you start a round, add each playing partner by name. Their scores are kept on your scorecard, on your device.
How do I follow another golfer?
Every signed-in golfer has a golfer code. Ask for theirs and enter it in the Clubhouse, or share yours with them.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Clubhouse → Delete my account. That removes your profile, published rounds and follow connections from our servers. You can also email support@kingsbridge-consultancy.com and we'll do it for you.
