Our apps are private by design, and the two of them that need no account keep almost everything on your phone. What we hold, and how to have it deleted, differs by app — find yours below.
Sandy
Sandy keeps your rounds, your bag and your settings on your phone. Scoring, GPS yardages and the 3D hole flyovers all work without an account, and while signed out nothing about you is stored on our servers. Your location is used while the app is open, to find nearby courses and measure your distance to the pin; it is never stored on our servers and never shared with other golfers.
If you create an account for the Clubhouse, we hold:
- your email address, used only to sign you in;
- your display name and golfer code;
- the rounds you publish — course, date, scores and handicap index — which are visible to golfers who follow you;
- comments and likes you leave, and who you follow;
- your bag, so it follows you to a new phone.
Delete your Sandy account, in the app
- Open Sandy and go to the Clubhouse tab.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm.
This is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, email address, published rounds, comments, likes, follows, notifications and bag from our servers. Rounds saved only on your phone stay there until you uninstall the app. It cannot be undone.
Prefer not to use the app? Email support@kingsbridge-consultancy.com with the subject “Delete my Sandy account” and the email address you signed in with. We will delete it within 30 days.
Ram Koti and Naam Jaap
Nothing about you leaves your device by default — your counts, streak and settings are stored only on your phone. Recognition runs entirely on-device: Ram Koti recognises your handwriting on-device, and Naam Jaap counts your chanting with an offline speech model. Your handwriting and your voice are never recorded or uploaded.
The only time any data is sent to us is if you choose to join the optional community board (leaderboard). In that case we store, under an anonymous ID (no email, phone or password — there is no account):
- the display name you chose for the board;
- your name counts (today and lifetime) and day streak.
How to request deletion
- Email support@kingsbridge-consultancy.com with the subject “Delete my data”.
- Tell us which app (Ram Koti or Naam Jaap) and the display name you used on the board, so we can locate your entry.
We will permanently delete your board entry — your display name, your counts and streak, and the associated anonymous ID — within 30 days. Nothing identifying you is kept after that (only anonymous, aggregate totals that cannot be linked to you may remain).
Deleting on-device data
Everything stored on your phone — counts and streaks in Ram Koti and Naam Jaap, the pages you wrote in Ram Koti, your rounds and bag in Sandy — is removed when you uninstall the app. We cannot access that data.
